Ask something elseFor most institutions in our partner network, no. We are paid a commission by the institution when you enrol, which is the standard model across the industry. That fee does not change your tuition — you pay the same either way.
A small number of services sit outside that: applications to institutions we do not represent, and standalone statement writing for a file we are not otherwise handling. Those are quoted in writing before any work starts, and you will never receive an invoice you did not agree to first.
Several countries now ask applicants to answer set questions about why they have chosen this course, this institution and this country, and what they intend to do afterwards. Australia calls this the Genuine Student requirement. It replaced the older Genuine Temporary Entrant test in 2024.
It applies to essentially every student visa applicant. The answers have to be yours, they have to be consistent with the rest of your file, and a case officer will notice if they are not.
No, and you should be careful with anyone who says otherwise. Visa decisions are made by government case officers against criteria that change. What we can do is make sure your file is complete, internally consistent and lodged with the evidence a decision-maker expects to see — which is where most refusals actually come from.
Not automatically. A gap that you can account for — employment, family responsibility, a business, further training — is far less of an issue than a gap you cannot explain. Bring your employment evidence to the assessment and we will tell you how it reads.
Yes. A prior refusal has to be declared, and it changes how the next application is built, but it is not the end of the road. Bring the refusal letter to your assessment — the reasons given in it decide what happens next.
Nine to twelve months before your intended intake is comfortable. Six is workable. Under three months is possible only in specific cases, and usually means accepting a later intake than you wanted.
